The “system that evaluates people both objectively and subjectively, gives feedback, and optimizes the experience (see episode 401)”, which was proposed in 2013, is a system that can be applied to education in general. A method of subjectively evaluating the state of one’s body can be obtained by answering a questionnaire. In addition, the mechanism for objectively evaluating the body’s condition uses biosensors to acquire and evaluate changes in the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves of the autonomic nervous system, making it possible to evaluate a person’s condition. Biological signals can be obtained from brain waves, sweating, pulse, blood flow, etc. (Refer to episodes 401 and 402) When objectively evaluating a person’s condition using biological signals, it is necessary to select biological signals and judge conditions according to the purpose. Medical expertise is required to read changes in biological signals, determine the state of the body, and take active action.

It is possible to understand a person’s ecological characteristics by subjectively or objectively evaluating a person’s condition, accumulating data based on the evaluation results, and confirming the relationship between the load placed on the person and the result. . The figure shows an example using a treadmill. At the same time, we provide a kinetic load to the participants, and at the same time, we use large displays to simulate the movement of the space visually, simulating the same experience as exercising in real space. By acquiring the exercise status from biological signals and objectively evaluating it, the system determines whether to increase or decrease the exercise load while understanding the condition of the person experiencing the exercise. This is an example of determining the load to be applied based on a person’s characteristic data and the individual’s class (determining which rank group an individual belongs to based on statistical distribution), and optimizing the exercise load to suit each individual. . We believe that in the future we will be able to create a system that optimizes training and education according to each individual’s ability using the method described here.
